Meet LaToya Valmont — Founder of LV Virtual AssistantAs a results-driven professional with over a decade of experience in project management, customer success, and operational efficiency, I help businesses simplify their operations by turning complex workflows into clear, repeatable systems—giving them the freedom to focus on growth, strategy, and big-picture goals.Throughout my career, I’ve held high-impact roles with some of the most recognized names in media and education—including O, The Oprah Magazine, People, Essence, Glamour, Travel + Leisure, Departures, The Princeton Review, and Condé Nast’s branded content division. I also served as a Customer Service Specialist with Lacerte Tax, where I supported finance professionals by delivering solution-focused assistance and technical troubleshooting with care and precision. As I transitioned out of corporate life, I took on a customer-focused role at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. There, I helped manage front-end client care—welcoming members, resolving concerns, and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. This chapter allowed me to reconnect with wellness and service on a more personal level, and reinforced my desire to build a career rooted in purpose and people. That desire led me to launch LV Virtual Assistant—a boutique virtual assistant business committed to supporting mission-driven professionals who need structure, support, and systems to help them thrive.Today, I provide high-level virtual support to solopreneurs, nonprofit organizations, churches and ministries, tax professionals, creative entrepreneurs, real estate experts, construction professionals and corporate leadership. As a PMP-certified Virtual Assistant, I specialize in project coordination, client care, and operations—bringing clarity and calm to the chaos of daily business life.Outside of work, you can find me recharging in the gym, traveling near and far—whether it's a quick domestic getaway or an international adventure—or immersing myself in my love of art through museum exhibits, local artists, and the work of painters. I also enjoy exploring creative outlets like pottery, candle making, and glassblowing. I’m passionate about continuous learning, purposeful living, and helping others reclaim their most valuable resource: time.

TESTIMONIALS
I had the pleasure of working with LaToya while I was editor in chief of Departures and she was managing editor for both that brand and Travel & Leisure. LaToya was incredibly valuable to myself and the organization, as she was effectively able to manage multiple processes within a large and sometimes unwieldy corporate structure. She is very organized, has an expert eye for managing a budget, and is an excellent communicator. She understands the nature of a creative endeavor and is able to balance the demands of a fluid process with the need for structure and deadlines. Overall, LaToya is a joy to work with and I highly recommend her for any kind of project management role.

Please reach out to me if I can answer any further questions about working with LaToya, any organization would be beyond lucky to have her on board.

I had the pleasure of working with LaToya for nearly five years at Essence magazine. She was a sterling production manager with a keen ability to work across multiple departments, implement new technology and facilitate a smooth and seamless closing process. With a laser-sharp mind and willingness to always go above and beyond LaToya was an integral member of the senior production team. She's very well respected at Essence and throughout the Time Warner organization. One particular project that stands out in my mind was her oversight, management and production of a special project where she collected over 400 covers and worked directly with an outside vendor to produce the Essence 40th anniversary commemorative poster to run in the magazine and online. This special editorial unit was flawlessly produced, exceeded our expectations and became a highly sought after collector's item for the magazine's audience. It is my pleasure to recommend LaToya Valmont. I consider working with her one of the highlights of working at Essence.
